As your Neighborhood Canna Educator, my workshops are open to any person 18 yrs and older in St. Petersburg, FL and the surrounding area who's curious about cannabis. All locations in which I give workshops are very inviting and welcoming environments. So, if this is your first workshop, take a leap of faith and come join us. I promise you'll learn some awesome stuff, meet some excellent people and learn how to advocate for your health whether that is with or without cannabis consumption.
Longer, group workshops are held in person at The Sanctum Apothecary, 1903 12th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704. (Please message for at home Private Educational Party information.) You’re welcome to arrive a few minutes early to look around, say hi and make yourself comfortable. Tea and water will be available (if registration is done in advance). *Space is limited
Shorter, group workshops are held at local, small businesses within the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. Currently, you can find upcoming events with Charlie Parker Pottery, located at 2724 6th Ave S St, St Petersburg, FL, 33712. Water will be available. *Space is limited
*Note: No cannabis consumption permitted on or around the premises as this is purely an educational workshop. Medical marijuana cards are not required to attend.
Understanding Cannabis & Your Body is presented by Cannabis Educator, Lindsey Gaviria from NeighborhoodCannaEducator.com. Lindsey has been teaching in some capacity for over 15 years. Whether in a High School setting or in such industries as Vitamins & Supplements, Teas & Herbs, and now Cannabis, one common thread is the desire to help and educate. She is an open book with her medical experiences - Fibromyalgia, Migraines, IBS/Colon resections, Endometriosis Stage 4, Full Hysterectomy, Appendectomy, Menopause & More - with hopes it helps someone else in their own journey.
I believe that you are your biggest advocate for self-care. My goal is to arm you with foundational knowledge of cannabis and the connection it has with your body. Why spend weeks or months and hundreds of dollars to narrow down a beneficial cannabis product? I want you to leave feeling confident knowing which products and routes to try, which questions to ask at your local dispensary in order to customize & maximize YOUR medicinal marijuana journey to fit YOUR bodies needs, and how to track your usage for further success. Understanding the connection between medicinal cannabis and your body so that you can select which strain and route is best for your needs is invaluable and a true game-changer!
